Christine Dahl Pastries provides wedding cakes to the greater Santa Barbara area. Cake prices range from $5.50 and up per serving. Our pastries are made the classic way from scratch using eggs, flour, butter, natural flavoring, real chocolate and fresh fruits. They look great and taste even better.
Wedding cakes during the May-November time frame should be ordered two or more months in advance. Three months or more is a recommended lead time, however there is occasionally the possibility to book a cake with as little as a week's notice.
Please note that almost any cake can be created to accomodate the number of servings required. There is, however a minimum charge of $150.00 for a two tiered cake.
Tasting consulations are by appointment only.
Appointments can be made by contacting Christine and are conducted at the pastry kitchen. Cake tasting is complimentary for up to four people. Appointment times are limited during the wedding season, so please call for an appointment early.
Agreement: Upon placing the pastry order, a 50% deposit is required. If cancellation occurs less than one week (7 days) prior to the event, the deposit is non-refundable. The remaining deposit is due 7 business days prior to delivery.
Wedding cakes ordered between June and September require a non-refundable 50% deposit. Any changes to this agreement must be made in writing ten (10) days prior to delivery date.
Note: All rentals including cake bases, plates, trays and columns remain the property of Christine Dahl Pastries and are to be saved and/or returned by the Client. Christine Dahl Pastries will pick up those items at the Client's convenience. Lost or damaged rental items will be billed at cost plus a $25 service charge.
Past due accounts are subject to 10% monthly interest charges.
