1. How do I book a tasting/consultation
It is best to call for an appointment rather than e-mailing whenever possible. There are so many variables/times. My cell is 805-701-6846.
I allow 1 hour per appointment. Scheduling is usually very tight, so if you are traveling to Santa Barbara please allow plenty of time for traffic so you can get your full time slot. I.E. DON’T BE LATE !!
Tasting appointments are free for weddings over 50 people – 25.00 for weddings under 50 people
Tastings consist of 5 flavors featuring my best selling combinations so you can get an idea of quality. Custom flavors are welcome, but cost is $35.00 each.
We will also be looking at my extensive portfolio which contains many more pictures than are in my website galleries.
I will be asking what your color palate is, and general feel for your big day!
2. What can I expect to pay and how far out should I book my cake?
Wedding cakes are priced at a per person/slice. My prices for 2015 start at $6.50 per person. Intricacy in design and certain decorating techniques can bump that price up considerably. I have many designs at the 6.50 range, so no, my starting price does not mean that you are getting a very plain cake. Prices are negotiable for very large weddings.
There is a minimum charge of $200.00 for a 2 tier cake for weddings under 30 people.
Delivery for cakes in the immediate Santa Barbara area is $25.00. Further charges depend on distance and time of year.
Cakes should be booked at least 4 months in advance for cakes during peak season. (April thru October)
3. What if I have my own design or picture I like?
E-mail it to me!! My direct e-mail is Christine.firstname.lastname@example.org I can usually quote from there. OR.. Bring it to your scheduled tasting.
